Remove one layer of roofing materials down to the original decking. Work is limited to the main house and excludes porches or awnings. Install new drip edge and rake edge. Install 6 feet of ice and water shield starting from the drip edge. Tape all decking seams not covered by ice and water shield. Install ice and water shield in all valleys and around the skylight. Install felt paper on the rest of the decking. Install architectural shingles, including starter shingles and ridge cap shingles. Install ridge vent for proper ventilation.
