Install a flat 4' x 8' aluminum sign on the left side of the building, just to the right of the garage door. Install it into the concrete block wall using cement anchors and screws. Replace the existing 4' x 8' sign on the front of the building next to the main entrance. The existing sign is 1" foamed outdoor PVC. Replace it with a 4' x 8' aluminum sign installed into the concrete block with cement anchors and screws. The applicant is unsure whether a permit is needed for the second sign because a sign already exists and leaves that determination to the city.
Install two identical blade signs: one over the front entrance and the second over the side entrance. The signs will be constructed of extruded aluminum and fastened to the building with concrete anchors and bolts.
Install identical signs on all 4 sides of the building. The signs will not be illuminated and will have no electrical connections or components. Each sign will consist of acrylic letters/logo mounted to an aluminum panel, which will be mounted to the building. The installation location is under 10 feet from ground level and will require only ladders.
Client is rebranding. We will be removing an illuminated sign that we installed on an exterior monument structure a few years ago and will be replaced with the exact same sign type with the only difference being the logo art. The electrical that is already in place is the exact electrical required for the new sign and we will just be disconnecting the old sign and connecting the new sign to this electrical The monument is ground level and there are no ladders or lifts required for this installation.
We are installing 6 total signs at 62 Southfield Avenue at the 4 entrances to the building. 4 of the signs are flat aluminum panel signs that are 18"x 24". Two of the signs are illuminated signs one of them 36"in length and the second is 48" in length.
