Remove the existing plaza and its materials as detailed in the removal plans. Where shown on the plans, remove all planting, including clearing, grubbing, and removal of plant material and trees. Remove and dispose of the asphalt surface course at the existing driveway. Where shown on the plans, remove and discard the existing stone walls, stairs, curbing, and their backup. Remove the existing concrete and stone paving, including subbase, in the pedestrian areas of the plaza. Maintain temporary egress and pedestrian access along the building frontages and at all building entrances and exits, as shown on the plans. Remove and discard all demolished items in a manner approved by the City of Stamford.
