Legalize work already done: Replace existing cedar shingles with 18" Perfection shingles. Ice and water shield applied to all eaves and valleys. Ridge vent to be installed to the ridge line. This homeowners permit has been accepted and will be issued as a homeowners permit. Work must follow Connecticut General Statute requirements that allow the homeowner to perform their own work at their home. If you choose not to do this work, you must hire a Connecticut Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) and provide the contractor and credentials before a permit is issued.
