Christopher Dean is a 30-year veteran of the hedge-fund and broker-dealer industry with deep expertise in quantitative research, portfolio management, and senior leadership. He founded Vector Capital Management LLC and Vector Partners LP, pioneers in statistical-arbitrage trading and agency execution. Both firms became leading quantitative platforms; Vector Partners LP was acquired by Bank of America in 2003. At Jefferies (2005–2015), Dean served as Advisor to the Executive Committee President and initiated the firm’s proprietary-equities trading group, which evolved into Jefferies Investment Advisers LLC / Quantport. He later served as Director of Research, Portfolio Manager, and Management Committee member, expanding Jefferies’ quantitative asset-management capabilities. In April 2020, Dean founded Adoy LLC, focused on volatility and systematic trading. Adoy merged with RQSI Louisville in April 2022, integrating research and trading infrastructure. He currently serves as President of Adoy LLC, managing advanced volatility- and Alpha-generation strategies. Dean has navigated every major Alpha regime since the early 1990s, maintaining a high lifetime Sharpe ratio while building, scaling, and successfully exiting multiple financial businesses. He is open to leadership opportunities requiring a seasoned senior executive with extensive domain knowledge in trading, research, and portfolio management.
