Install a freestanding wood-burning stove in the living room of a single-story (ranch) home. Install a double-wall flue pipe. The pipe coming off the stove will be double-wall pipe in the room where the stove sits. Before passing through the ceiling, the pipe will convert to Class A insulated pipe. The Class A pipe will continue through the attic and through the roof. The floor area will be 20 SF. Install cement board and stone veneer on the floor and up the wall behind the flue pipe.
