We had a certified architect inspect the house and ensure that none of the interior walls we plan to modify are load bearing. Dining Room: Widen the existing opening between the dining room and kitchen to about 6 feet (this is an estimate as we cannot get into the house at this time to measure)Widen the existing opening between the dining room and family room to mirror the opening between the dining room and living roomMaster bedroom: Close up (eliminate) one of 2 existing doors from the master bathClose up (eliminate) one of, 2 existing doors to the closetRemove the existing wall between the 2 master closets, as well as the wall between the master closet and a closet in the adjacent bedroom, to create a larger master closet. The door to the closet from the adjacent bedroom will be closed up (eliminated).
