Remove the existing concrete wall (26 inches tall by 12 inches deep) along the waterfront of the property, adjacent to Stamford Harbor. The proposal, assisted by RACE Coastal Engineering, describes restoring the site with a cable fence with structural components capable of withstanding flood depths, pressures, velocities, impact, uplift forces, and other factors associated with the base flood elevation of 15 feet. The proposed work is described as complying with flood zone requirements and not creating adverse impacts with respect to flooding. Plantings will include lawn, remaining similar to existing conditions. Owner cancelled the permit verbally on 4/16/19 and is asking for a refund. Sp.
