2025 Outdoor Dining Permit for Rowayton Seafood. Effective April 1,2025, to November 30,2025. Notes: This permit is specific to the outdoor dining located on a boat located seaward of the coastal jurisdiction line. See Chapter 45 Article IV Outdoor Dining of the Norwalk Ordinances for additional requirements.

Rowayton Seafood extension of use and ACB signed permit only.

Install new 200-amp overhead service - add to existing building, existing 400-amp.

Installation of a UL-approved wet chemical fire suppression system for the kitchen hood located at Rowayton Seafood and Restaurant.

Install lighting for new deck.

Install Type 1 hoods and fans, and fabricate and install ductwork.

Install a gable canopy steel tube.

Remove and reconstruct 20'X20 deck for outdoor dining Install lighting for new deck -Construct Canopy (as per engineer plans).

Remove and reconstruct a (20' x 20' +/-) deck for outdoor dining, replacing the existing deck with no expansion. See DEEP approval and applicable conditions; this is a public-accessible deck.

Install temporary dining tents - 20-by-20-foot, 10-by-15-foot, 24-by-24-foot, 6-by-28-foot.

Construct a canopy on the existing deck for outdoor dining, per the drawing entitled “Proposed Deck Canopy,” prepared by Sound Engineering Associates and dated 1/22/21.

Install (1) temporary ducted heater.

Electrical: Install a circuit for the second-floor addition.

Mechanical: Run a gas line to the new second-floor eating deck for future heat.

Electrical—200 amp service.

Install retractable awing and temp enclosure over exist. deck to rear of structure - permanent enclose required village district review - "Rowayton Seafood".

Install retractable awning and temporary enclosure over existing deck to rear of structure for "Rowayton Seafood" +/- 25.5' x 9' enclosure. Permanent enclosure requires Village District Review.

Create active dining space on the existing upstairs deck at “Rowayton Seafood.”

Approve up stairs deck for dining. Based on recalculation of interior space after reconfiguration of entrance area to gain 94. 25sf of active. Plus additional active area. Gained by longtern lease of 5 pkg spaces for outside waterfront deck - 182sf active/45 = 5 spaces total-gross.

Electrical: wire hood exhaust system.

Mechanical — gas line.
